Bridging the Gap
Hope House Campaign
Our capital campaign aims to bridge the gap between the the lack of safe housing and the need for it.
Since our inception in 2021, it has been one of our main goals here at Hope5one to have a safe place for survivors to go. The harsh reality is that, even if a victim is rescued out of a trafficking situation, many times the lack of a safe space forces them to do the unthinkable and return to their trafficker. It is estimated there are 300,000 requests nationwide for safe housing and only 1,300 beds available to survivors. With our capital campaign, we hope to do our part to alleviate this critical need.
What is Hope House?
Our vision for Hope House is an eight bed facility in a country setting with a long term care and recovery program for female survivors of human trafficking. The program will include therapy, biblical counseling, and life skills training. We hope to have farm animals on the property to help the women heal and also learn valuable skills.
How can you help?
The first thing you can do is pray that God will orchestrate all the details of the Hope House and provide for every need. If in addition to this, you feel led to give toward this effort, we would be so grateful! The need for funding to make this happen is very real. We are currently beginning to build upon land to build upon some donated land to make this goal a reality. We are raising funds for Hope House and building in stages as the funds become available. We know it will be a huge blessing to the women for whom we are able to provide shelter, hope, and healing.
