There are multiple types of human trafficking. It is a complex and growing problem. Human trafficking involves the exploitation of a human for use of their bodies or for labor. Sex trafficking is a form of human trafficking and involves a commercial sex act which can include prostitution, pornography and sexual performance done in exchange for any item of value, such as money, drugs, shelter, food or clothes.

It is estimated there are over 40 million victims of human trafficking worldwide.
The average age a child enters sex trafficking is 12-14.
Over 70% of victims are female and 25% are children.
